Carolina reaper

is currently the hottest chilli in the world entered in the Guinness Book of Records in December 2013. It comes from the United States, where it was grown by crossing 2 varieties – Bhut Jolokia and Habanero. With its 2,200,000 SHU units, it surpassed the previous title holder Trinidad Scorpion Moruga. These are extremely hot chilies, it is necessary to take extra care when handling the seeds.

The fruits of this hot pepper are red in color and size 3 x 4 cm.
