The story of "Chilis"

We are Zoltán and Tamás, the founders of Chilis.
We started growing chili pepper, because we were not satisfied with the quality of the commerce hot sauces available on the shelves at the supermarket.
We wanted to make our own premium chili sauce.
We started to grow in our garden back in 2016
The knowledge of our parents and further study of literature helped us at the start. We have gained a lot of experience over the years.
The ground in Csallóköz is sufficiently sandy and the climate is perfect for growing chili with a lot of sunshine.
We grow the hottest types of chili
Our first product
Our first product was Chilis RED, it is made from Carolina Reaper and Moruga Scorpion Red chili peppers.
Our gourmand friends loved the explosion of heat and spicy flavors and there was no coming back for us.
It has been our best-selling sauce ever since, we haven’t changed the recipe just the product design.
It was awarded at the Hungarian Taste Awards.
Let the experiments begin!
We expanded our product line & started selling
One sauce came after and other, we started making caned goods, dried chili and chili sausage with our own extra spicy chili.
After branding our products, we started selling them at local farmer’s markets.

As we cooked more and more, there was a need to be more professional, so we upgraded to a professional kitchen, custom made and specialized for making chili sauces.
We manufacture our products in the “Chilis” kitchen, in Jahodná (Slovakia).

Let's go online!
After a while we said, why not sell chili online, why not sell internationally…and here we are, with our e-shop distributing our “Chilis” hot sauces all over Europe.
We received help from a former classmate of Tamás in form of creating this website and by providing the legal conditions to sell our products online.
Our plan is to report our journey to chili fans through this site and giving them the option to try our products.

We made a selection from our beloved products in a special eco gift box, which includes 2 of our award winning sauces (Chilis Salsa, Chilis Red), 2 of our ultra hot sauces (Chilis Extra, Chilis Extra Yellow) and the “Chilis Extra chili grinder“.
This box continues the following chili types: Carolina Reaper, Moruga Scorpion Yellow, Bhut Jolokia, Habanero Red, Habanero Orange.

We are selling just a few of our products online. The reasoning is simple, we produce just a limited amount of our products each year.
In the future we hope, we will grow, but quality comes first.
